Valentines Day philosophy

Every Ordinary Man has the duty and responsibility to pay special attention to his special loves on this day. I observe that the marketing involved on this occasion often exceeds the emotion intended. Why is it that I feel and express the love I have for my special woman most every day? And therefore feel no compulsion to buy into the notion that a box of chocolate will erase sharp words or neglect from the past year? Erase the sharp words and neglect throughout the year and celebrate success on this day perhaps. So my plan, cook the evening meal as I do this so infrequently and be thankful once again to have such a special and loving woman in my life.....Don't even get me started on Christmas.

Good Friday - The Begining

One has the to start at the begining and what better place to start than with Good Friday. Much better than April Fools day I would think. I have been wondering what the Romans were thinking. Perhaps by Sunday I will know.
